A LVN Shabbaton in Eretz Yisrael! What could be more exhilarating, more uplifting, for LVN post-seminary girls than joining together to spend Shabbos in the Palace of the King? Mrs. Mark, the exceptional and esteemed director of the LVN Yerushalayim branch found the ideal location in Arad to host the 7th Shabbaton with her Lechu V’Nelcha members!
Last Shabbos, over 35 girls came from all over Yerushalayim to Arad, an idyllic setting for what proved to be an extraordinary experience. Graced with the presence of Rebbetzin Dinah Fink, who had flown in from the U.S. to lend her trademark warmth and words of stimulating inspiration, the group took part in a Shabbaton that they will reminisce about long after the winter has drawn to a close.
As one mother of a Yerushalayim LVN participant put it, “My daughter lives for her Lechu V’Nelcha, it gives her so much! It’s something that really enriches her whole life. Between the speakers, the activities, and the Shabbatons, she feels like she’s found a new family! Friends that are so Torah-oriented and so positive. She comes back from the shiurim and especially the Shabbatons really inspired. She wants everyone to go there and she tries to spread the word.”
